Forest Fire by Sharah Ahmed - Year 7, Abigail Fekadu - Year 7, Fi Faweya - Year 7, Lizania

This piece was inspired by looking at the damage inflicted by forest fires and deforestation. In this piece we worked together to create a 3D installation using cardboard and tissue paper.

This piece was inspired by the refugee crisis. We chose to show this in our 3D installation by creating a boat full of refugees, showing the dangerous journeys they make.

These are recycled canvases that represent the elements water and earth. The blue piece represents the water shortages and drought and the green piece represents the lush greenness of nature. The pieces were inspired by Vincent Van Gough’s ‘Starry Night'.
